Full Planning, Partial Planning or Day-of Coordination?
Start with the work that is still open
Make three short lists: decisions still to make, vendors already contracted, and work you want someone else to own. A venue reservation does not mean the rest of the wedding is ready for coordination. You may still need sourcing, design decisions, guest logistics or a complete timeline.
Package names vary between planners. Compare the written scope, the handover process and who communicates with each vendor. That makes proposals easier to assess than a price or label alone.
Full Planning: bring a planner in at the beginning
DTL Evnts’ Full Planning covers venue and vendor management, budget oversight, design and guest experience, planning logistics, detailed timelines, final meetings and walkthroughs, and on-site wedding-day management.
This is the conversation to start when you want professional direction across the planning process. Bring your priorities, guest estimate and preferred setting, even if the date or destination is still open.
Partial Planning: connect the arrangements you have made
DTL’s Partial Planning includes timeline creation, venue management after you have signed the venue, vendor management after you have signed the vendors, and on-site timeline execution.
If some major vendors are still unbooked, say so in the inquiry. It helps Danielle identify whether the remaining work fits this service or needs a broader planning scope.
Day-of Coordination: manage the execution
DTL’s Day-of Coordination covers on-site timeline execution and on-site venue and vendor management. It is intended for clients whose plans are in place and who need someone to manage the event on site.
Ask how your confirmed arrangements will be handed over and which responsibilities sit with each party. Share the ceremony and reception locations, vendor list, schedule and any unresolved decisions before the scope is agreed.
If you need guidance before choosing
A Planning Consultation is a phone consultation for couples who want help navigating venue or vendor choices and the next steps. It can be a useful starting point when you are not ready to commit to a larger planning service.
Prepare the two or three decisions you most need help making. A focused question, such as how to compare two venue options, gives the conversation a clearer purpose.
What to include when you inquire
- Your date or season, location and estimated guest count.
- The venue and vendors you have already signed.
- The decisions and coordination you want DTL to manage.
- Your overall event budget range, if known; note separately if you have a planning-fee allocation.
